Since

Thank you for your letter of 24th February about the Economic Adviser to the Governor of Hong Kong. receiving it we have heard from Hong Kong that the Governor has now found someone whom he considers suitably qualified to fill the post and has appointed him as head of the Department of Commerce and Industry, in which post he would also act as Economic Adviser; so I fear that on this matter we have troubled you for nothing.

I have no doubt, however, that we shall be requiring the same kind of people for other posts elsewhere, and, if so, perhaps I may enlist your help again when the time comes?
